About Certificates

LLOYDS RESEARCH COMPANY LTD maintains separate records for applicant registration and for assessments conducted under specific schemes. Each issued document identifies its holder, scope, issue date and current status. Where an assessment has taken place, the applicable scheme and its criteria are also identified.

Certificate of Registration

A Certificate of Registration records the applicant’s details and identifies the facility or branch to which the record relates. Depending on the documents reviewed, it includes the holder’s name, trading name, registered or operating address, declared activities and other relevant particulars.

Registration confirms only the information identified in the record. It does not, by itself, establish that the holder’s management arrangements, services or products conform to a separate assessment scheme. A registered holder can apply for a subject-specific assessment under an applicable scheme.

Subject-Specific Assessment Certificates

A subject-specific certificate records the outcome of an assessment against a documented scheme. It identifies the scheme and its version, the assessed activity or subject, the facility or location covered, the scope of the decision, any level awarded under the scheme, and the issue and expiry dates.

An assessment of a sports facility’s management arrangements, for example, applies only to the facility, branch and activities identified in its certificate. Other branches or subjects require separate assessments and decisions.

Each scheme sets out the evidence required, the assessment method, the decision rules and the validity period. A certificate is issued only after the required review and approval have been completed.

Training and Appreciation

A training certificate confirms attendance at a named course when attendance has been verified. It confirms successful completion only when the course requirements have been met and the supporting evidence has been reviewed.

A certificate of appreciation recognises a specified contribution or achievement. It does not, by itself, confirm successful completion of a course or conformity of an organisation’s services with an assessment scheme.

Online Verification

Each issued record or certificate has a unique number and a corresponding online verification entry at lloydsun.com. The entry can be accessed by entering the number or scanning the QR code on the issued document.

The verification result shows the holder, the relevant scope, the applicable dates and the document’s current status. Subject-specific assessment certificates display their status as Valid, Expired, Suspended or Withdrawn. A facility’s registration record and its subject-specific certificates have independent numbers and statuses.
