What We Do
LLOYDS RESEARCH COMPANY LTD provides information registration, scheme-based assessment and related training services for individuals and organisations. The subject, criteria, method and intended outcome of each service are defined before work begins.
Our schemes may address different sectors and subjects, including professional records, organisational arrangements, facilities, services, processes and product-related information. The checks applied to each application depend on the relevant scheme.
Our Services
Information Registration
We review the documents specified for an application and record the information that has been checked. The resulting record identifies the holder and the information covered by the registration.
Scheme-Based Assessment
We assess a defined subject against the documented criteria of an applicable scheme. Depending on that scheme, the work may involve document review, interviews, observation or a visit. Findings are recorded, and a certificate is issued only where the scheme provides for one and its requirements have been met.
Training
For each course offered, the subject, delivery method and requirements for confirming attendance or successful completion are specified. Any training certificate reflects the course records and the requirements actually fulfilled.
Application Guidance
We explain the available services, application steps and evidence required so that applicants can select the appropriate route. Guidance or participation in training does not determine the outcome of an assessment.
Applications, Timing and Fees
The requirements and validity conditions for each assessment are set out in the relevant scheme. A project schedule, including a Gantt chart where useful, may show the sequence and expected timing of activities; it does not replace the scheme criteria.
The time and fee for an application depend on the subject, locations, evidence required and assessment activities. Any separately chargeable visit, external test or other expense is identified in the quotation before it is incurred.
Understanding the Result
Each issued document identifies its holder, subject and applicable scope. Where an assessment uses a published standard as a reference, the requirements actually assessed and any additional scheme-specific checks are identified in the assessment documentation. The receiving organisation decides whether a particular document meets its own requirements.
